A Message for Mothers

At Home with ADHD

A famous saying attributed to the Dalai Lama goes:  "If every 8-year-old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation."
Wouldn’t it be great if we mothers had the power and influence to achieve world peace? I know what you’re thinking; that’s idealist thinking and unrealistic. However, I believe we can do things within our power to maintain balance and contribute a little to Dalai Lamas's idealist dream.

So, this month, I’m sharing the secrets I believe will help raise healthy, happy little kids who will become the next generation of peacemakers.

A message for the mothers of future peacemakers:

To heal from multigenerational trauma and raise healthy futures, we must learn to love, feel, communicate, and work together.

We love the children and offer them guidance.

They are the future, our legacy lies within their genes.
We treasure the women and little girls, for they are sacred.

We teach them how to smile, how to learn, how to build, and how to breathe.

We teach them how to dance, love the 'aww' of nature, self-awareness, compassion, empathy, and the beauty of forgiveness.

We teach them how to nurture their bodies, souls, and dreams and use their superpowers within the cycles of their female genes.

We let them fly and never entrap them by clipping their future wings. We guide, not control. Before metamorphosis, we do not box the caterpillars or cut down the flowers or trees.

Most importantly, we females are not each other's enemies. We work together to maintain the peace. Thus the Wars will continue, and the balance of power will shift in and out like the ocean tides.

But we remain focused, fighting at home, spreading the seeds of change, tolerance, patience, love, and empathy.

For our genes will echo through like the characters of the past, and the healed version of us will go on to become the future generation of change and global consciousness—the peacemakers.

She resides and virtually works for her current employer, from her home in San Rafael, CA.  When she is not hyperfocused on work she enjoys hikes in the Marin headlands and couch cuddles with her family and furry friend. She is currently staying away from engaging in any new hobbies except for being a mentor & advocate of mental and physical well-being.

Only then will you be able to see your authentic self reflected within your home, your soul, and in the workplace.
