For many parents, choosing a preschool can be a daunting experience. There are so many great options in Marin, so how do you know which school will be best for your child and your family?
To help people with this important decision, the Toddler & Pre-Kinder Moms Group is hosting a special workshop titled, “How to Pick a Preschool,” led by local expert Cara Guyot, also known as The Cubby Coach. Cara will share her knowledge about preschools in Marin, the application process, and important things to consider when researching and picking a school. She’ll also touch on how to get your child preschool ready!
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 23, from 7pm to 9pm. It will be held at the Mill Valley Community Center. Beverages and desserts will be served.
The cost to register is $10, and registration is limited to 30 people. Moms, dads and caregivers are invited. Children are welcome; however, there will be no childcare or kids’ activities offered.
This event comes on the heels of another great educational event, the SMMC Preschool Fair, taking place on October 9 at the Strawberry Rec Center. Both events are designed to help parents navigate this milestone moment in a child’s life!
