Juneteenth: A Freedom Celebration
Harold Jones widely regarded as the finest drummer in the world is bringing his 18 piece big band The Bossmen to Tiburon, kicking off the town’s Juneteenth celebration. Not only has Jones backed every singer of note in the business but was also the drummer for Count Basie and Tony Bennett. Among his other accolades in 1962 his ensemble introduced Jazz to the White House at the request of Jackie Kennedy.
