Father's Day offers a plethora of fun activities to celebrate dads and create lasting memories. Enjoy a high-energy, heartwarming performance of Kinky Boots at the Mountain Play on Mt. Tamalpais, perfect for a family outing with a musical twist. Car enthusiasts can head to the Tiburon Classic & Exotic Car Show to admire vintage automobiles against the stunning backdrop of Tiburon Waterfront Park. For a more laid-back celebration, indulge in a special Father's Day BBQ at Marin Country Mart, complete with delicious Suppenküche specialties and live music. Active families can join the Father’s Day BikeAbout at the San Francisco Zoo, where a guided bike tour and a continental breakfast await. Alternatively, take a scenic hike to the West Point Inn in Mill Valley for a delightful pancake breakfast with breathtaking views. No matter what the dad in your life enjoys, there's a perfect way to celebrate his special day.

1. The Mountain Play: Kinky Boots
Location: Mt. Tamalpais
Date: Sunday, June 16, 2 pm
Cost: $50/adults $25/kids

Sunday is the last performance of the Mountain Play's hit production of Kinky Boots! Kinky Boots is a high-energy, heartwarming musical that tells the story of Charlie Price, a young man who inherits his family’s struggling shoe factory. In a twist of fate, he partners with the fabulous Lola to save the business by creating a line of high-heeled, thigh-high boots for drag queens. This heartwarming and inspiring story has unforgettable characters, catchy music, and dazzling choreography.

2. Tiburon Classic & Exotic Car Show
Location: Main St., Tiburon
Date: Saturday, June 15, 11am-4pm
Cost: Free

The Tiburon Classic Car Show (TCCS) is a wonderful community event, held annually in Tiburon near the ferry boat landing, against the beautiful backdrop of the Tiburon Waterfront Park. The show celebrates the beauty of classic automobiles(produced prior to 1975). Food, ice cream, soft drinks, and adult drinks are available or bring a picnic, relax on the lawn by the bay, and enjoy the spectacular cars. The show is open to the public and admission is free.

3. Father’s Day BBQ with Suppenküche
Location: Marin Country Mart Big Tent
Date: Sunday, June 16, 11am-6pm

Head over to the Marin Country Mart for a special Father’s Day BBQ featuring ribs, bratwurst, pretzels, hamburgers, hot dogs & more. Plus Suppenküche specialties including Pilsners & Wheat Beers. There will be live music and fun for the whole family.

4. Father’s Day BikeAbout
Location: San Francisco Zoo
Date: Sunday, June 16, 9-10am
Cost: $55 adult, Child piggy-back: Free

Pedal your way through the Zoo during a 60-minute guided riding tour as staff share fun animal facts about parenting in the animal kingdom. After the ride, enjoy a continental breakfast before spending the day at the zoo. Registration required.

5. West Point Inn Pancake Breakfast
Location: West Point Inn, Mill Valley
Date: Sunday, June 16, 9am-1pm
Cost: $13/adult, $8/kids under 12

Take the family on a memorable hike for a Pancake Breakfast with stunning views of the Bay. Pancake breakfasts are served from 9am to 1pm. The cost is $13 for an adult portion and $8 for kids (under 12 yo). Blueberries are available when in season for an additional $2. It’s suggested to bring cash and arrive early. Breakfast is first come, first served.
