How quickly can I get into a playgroup?
Upon completion and confirmation of the enrollment process you will be able to access the SMMC online communication platform and select an age-based or special interest playgroup of your choice.
What does age-based and special interest mean?
An age-based playgroup is made up of a 3 month range of your child's age. A special interest group can have children of various age ranges but will have a specific focus on interest i.e. hiking, Jewish Moms, etc.
Can I join more than one group?
Yes, but we recommend you start with an age-based playgroup and one special interest group. If at a later point, you feel you have the time, you can add on additional special interest group(s).
When do the playgroups meet?
We do not keep track of when the playgroups meet since the days/times seem to change whenever moms' availability andchildrens' nap schedules change.
What if I can't meet when the playgroup does?
Ask your playgroup leader and/or members if the day/time the group meets can rotate on a bi-monthly or monthly basis. Alternately, you can select another playgroup.
I'm going back to work in 6 months - can I join both the age-based and working moms groups?
Yes, you can join an age-based group today and then a working moms group later and still participate in both groups.
