About the Newsletter
The Southern Marin Mothers’ Club (SMMC) publishes a newsletter ten times annually for its 450+ members. July/August and December/January are combined issues. SMMC offers three types of advertising space:
- General print ads
- Web site postings
- Classified ads (posted in both newsletter and on website)
Please note that as a private organization, SMMC has the right to refuse publishing any advertisement for any reason.
General Newsletter Advertising

- 10% discount for committing to a minimum of six issues.
- SMMC ads are printed in black ink @ 110 lines per inch. All ads must be submitted in the correct size and orientation. Please save doc using your company name.
- Preferred format for ads for either Windows or Mac, is pdf, jpg and tiff.
- Minimum resolution should be 300 dpi if the image is to be printed at 100% (lower resolution is acceptable if image size is larger than its print size).
- SMMC will create advertisements for $75; $20 for creative changes. Please inquire for availability.
Newsletter Classified Advertising

- Please email your classified ad submission to Samantha and Julie at advertising@southernmarinmoms.com with “Classified Ad” in the subjectline.
- Your classified ad and payment must be received by the 1st of the month for the following month (ex. If classified ad and fee is received on April 25th, it will go into the June newsletter).
- Please make checks payable to SMMC and mailed to Samantha or Julie: Payment must be received before an ad will be printed.

Payment
Payments must be received 30 days prior to print. For example, if advertising in the April issue, deadline for payment is Feb. 24. Please email artwork to our advertising coordinator: Samantha and Julie at advertising@southernmarinmoms.com. Please make checks payable to SMMC and mail to: 132 Avenida Miraflores, Tiburon, CA 94920.
Additional Sponsorship Opportunities with SMMC
In 2008 we are offering a Mom’s Express card to active Southern Marin Mothers Club members. The members can use the cards at local businesses where they are offered discounts or services. If you are interested in learning more about this program, please let me know and I can forward you the information. The SMMC offers opportunities to donate product/services at the various social, educational and fundraising events that we orchestrate throughout the year.
